Chad separates people who arrive from ChatGPT from OpenAI crawlers requesting your pages. That distinction keeps a bot fetch from being reported as a website visit.
ChatGPT traffic analytics should measure two different signals: human referral visits from ChatGPT and server-side requests from OpenAI crawlers. Chad reports both, but never combines them into one number.
Human referrals and crawler requests are not the same
A human referral is recorded when a visitor's browser supplies a ChatGPT referrer. It can be connected to the pages that person viewed, anonymous sessions, goals, funnels, and attributed revenue when those features are configured.
Crawler activity is recorded at the server because crawlers generally do not execute browser analytics. Chad identifies known OpenAI user agents and reports the requested path, crawler category, status, and time separately.

Can Google Analytics show ChatGPT traffic?
It can expose referrers, but you usually have to build and maintain your own source rules. Chad treats known AI referrals as a first-class report and keeps crawler requests separate.
Does a GPTBot request mean ChatGPT sent a visitor?
No. A crawler request and a human referral are different events. Chad reports them separately.
Can Chad prove ChatGPT caused a conversion?
Chad can attribute a configured goal or payment to an observed anonymous session. It does not claim causation, and missing referrer signals can limit attribution.
