See your website traffic — and how much comes from ChatGPT, Claude & AI — in Slack.

== Description ==

Chad Analytics is a ~1KB, cookieless tracking script that shows you who's visiting your
WordPress site, including how much of your traffic comes from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity
and other AI. Reports land in your Slack channel automatically — no dashboard to check.

This plugin adds the Chad Analytics tracking snippet to your site's `<head>` on every
page, using the Site ID from your Chad Analytics account. No cookies, no consent banner
needed, no page-speed impact.

== Installation ==

1. Install and activate the plugin through the WordPress Plugins screen.
2. Go to Settings → Chad Analytics.
3. Paste your Site ID (looks like `CH-XXXX` — find it in your Chad Analytics Slack
   welcome message, or at chadanalytics.com) and click Save Site ID.
4. That's it. The tracking snippet now loads on every page automatically.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Where do I find my Site ID? =

Your Site ID was sent to your Slack channel when you connected Chad Analytics, and is
also shown at chadanalytics.com after you sign up.

= Does this plugin use cookies? =

No. Chad Analytics is fully cookieless and doesn't require a cookie consent banner.

= Will this slow down my site? =

No. The script is deferred and loads in about 1KB.

= What happens if I deactivate or delete the plugin? =

Deactivating stops the snippet from loading. Deleting the plugin also removes your
stored Site ID from the database.

In the Slack channel you connected when you signed up at chadanalytics.com — no
dashboard login required.
